Evanston, IL (February 1, 2018) – Multilingual Connections, a leading woman-owned translation agency that provides translation, transcription, multimedia and interpretation services in over 75 languages, announced that it has relocated its office to 847 Chicago Ave Ste 250 in Evanston, IL.
“My family moved to Evanston in 2014, and it didn’t take long before I realized that Evanston would be the best home for my business, too. We relocated here in 2015 and quickly outgrew our previous office. We were committed to staying in Evanston and were thrilled to find such a beautiful space to build out,” said Jill Kushner Bishop, Founder & CEO. “We’re also committed to creating a great environment for our employees, most of whom come in from Chicago each day. Our new location directly across from the Main Street CTA and Metra, combined with abundant natural light and access to a gym, lounge and terrace, make this a great place for our team.”
Their new suite features a large open workspace that facilitates collaboration, three private offices, a conference room and their Zen Den – a private space for informal meetings, personal calls, pumping moms or anyone that needs a few quiet minutes during the day. The walls of the suite showcase art from Guatemala and Nicaragua, as well as local art festivals.
“Evanston has a reputation for being a great place to raise a family, but it’s also a great place to have a business,” say Bishop. “The City of Evanston is easy to work with, and there’s a very active and supportive business environment”. To celebrate their new location, Multilingual Connections held a ribbon cutting with the Evanston Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, January 31st. Mayor Steve Hagerty, Alderman Melissa Wynn and Evanston Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Linda Larkin, as well as representatives from the City and business community, were in attendance.
