Multilingual Connections

The Translators Behind the Translation

In today’s technologically-advanced, interconnected era, it’s easy to look at a piece of writing – be it a translation or a transcript – and take for granted the option of reading it in a language you understand. At Multilingual Connections, we’re all about celebrating the translators and transcriptionists who make that possible: their success is truly our success. Our linguists are at the core of what we do.

We’re always looking to grow our family of qualified freelance translators and transcriptionists. Could you be one of them?

As professionals are well-aware, this work takes more than just knowing two languages. Our linguists possess the relevant education, training and experience to handle projects requiring specific tools and skill sets. Beyond those credentials, our linguists are detail-oriented, able to follow complex instructions and interested in researching unfamiliar terms or concepts as needed.

Freelancing isn’t for everyone. Our most successful (and satisfied) linguists are organized, motivated self-starters who are able to work independently while regularly communicating with us and sharing updates on their assignments.

If that’s you, it’s time to get in touch!

Our first-ever Linguist Meet & Greet is a great opportunity to introduce yourself to us and learn more about Multilingual Connections. We’re inviting translators and transcriptionists to join us for light refreshments in our Evanston office on Thursday, March 9th from 10 to 11 AM. We’ll be discussing how we work with linguists and some exciting projects on the horizon. Of course, there’ll be plenty of time to chat with fellow attendees and some members of our in-house team.

We’d appreciate RSVPs (emailed to seyma@mlconnections.com) by Monday, March 6th. We look forward to meeting you!
