Our mission is simple but powerful: creating connections. Whether it’s helping a local hospital communicate with a diverse audience or assisting businesses in expanding globally, we’re all about forging connections through language. Our CEO Jill Kushner Bishop recently got the chance to spread our mission while chatting with podcast host Adam Torres on the Mission Matters podcast.
Jill shared how her journey in language began with a background in linguistic anthropology, where she explored the fascinating link between language and culture. Her career path took an exciting twist when she got the opportunity to join forces with Chipotle Mexican Grill to oversee language and culture programs for over 130 restaurants, mainly serving Spanish-speaking employees. It was a pivotal experience that highlighted the importance of breaking down language barriers.
This experience is what ignited Jill’s entrepreneurial spirit, leading her to establish Multilingual Connections in 2005. Initially, the plan was to offer English and Spanish classes for restaurants and hotels. But fate had more in store. Services quickly expanded to include translation, transcription, subtitling, and voiceovers – and more recently, multilingual research moderation.

Jill also gave advice to people wanting to learn to navigate the world of translation services with these three tips:

Begin by translating key content that will make a significant impact.
