Monica was born and raised in Honduras and moved to the United States for college. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at Ohio Dominican University, she relocated to Guadalajara, Mexico, where she lived for 16 years. During that time, she worked as an ESL teacher and freelance linguist, building a career centered around language and communication. She is now based in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey.

As a Talent Manager at Multilingual Connections, Monica connects skilled linguists with the right opportunities. She enjoys finding great candidates, building relationships, and making sure things run smoothly for everyone involved.

In her free time, Monica enjoys reading, staying active, and keeping things organized. She has been a big Stephen King fan since childhood and enjoys exploring new music, cuisines, and creative pursuits. She also loves spending time with her husband and her two cats, Agustina and Lucy.
