Hatice was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She is a skilled translator and interpreter specializing in legal, technical, and academic translations and holds a BA degree in Translation and Interpreting from Istanbul University. While coordinating an international cultural project at the university, she contributed to several research projects and authored multiple academic publications.

She lived in Vilnius, Lithuania, and, after discovering the charm of the Baltics, moved to Riga, Latvia, for her graduate studies. Her MSc degree in Digital Humanities from Riga Technical University honed her specialization in language technology, and she created a hybrid model by adapting a combination of Agile methodologies to LSP production workflows in her master’s thesis.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the hidden gems of the city’s coffee scene, analog photography, dancing, and junk journaling. A passionate traveler, she still believes in the magic of sending postcards.
