Seyma, a New York native, first moved to Chicago to study at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. After college, she spent a year in Jerusalem, eventually returning to the United States to work in non-profits. She most recently worked as a French<>English medical interpreter; her linguistic repertoire also includes Russian and Serbian. Seyma has tangoed in three countries, and she enjoys learning to play guitar, sketching and exploring nature.
