Account Coordinator

Multilingual Connections is a woman-owned language services company in Evanston Illinois that provides translation, transcription and multimedia localization in over 75 languages.  We are looking for a full-time Account Coordinator to provide administrative and strategic support for new and existing clients. This position reports to the Client Relations Director.

The focus of this position is to establish, maintain and grow relationships with new and existing clients, respond to client inquiries, conduct periodic account reviews and provide general administrative support in other client-focused areas such marketing and communications. Responsibilities include:

Account Coordination

  • Promptly and effectively respond to client inquiries, including quote requests
  • Conduct business overviews via phone, web or in person
  • Liaise with the production department to ensure that projects for your clients are handled appropriately and with keen attention to client specifications
  • Track and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service, identifying any points for improvement along the way
  • Request client testimonials and write case studies
  • Coordinate new client welcome notes and holiday gifts
  • Explore growth opportunities with existing accounts through research and cultivating relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts, including quarterly business reviews
  • Prepare reports on client activity and other reports as required
  • Maintain database of client contacts, activities, opportunities and communication history in our CRM
  • Assist in researching and compiling Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new and existing accounts
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned by Client Relations Director

Marketing & Communications

  • Update web, digital, print and social media content
  • Ensure company information is updated in business databases
  • Attend networking events and conference as required

This role requires Central Standard Time working hours, and we’re looking for the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Confident and friendly demeanor for talking to clients via phone and video
  • Works well with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Highly tech-savvy (Google apps, MS Office, Adobe, CRM)
  • Self-starter, excellent problem-solver and autonomous worker - but also loves to collaborate
  • University degree or equivalent plus two years of administration and customer service experience
  • Multilingual, experience in the translation field and sense of humor a plus!
